CSR is the preeminent space launch range technical services provider. Since 1988 CSR has provided the United States Air Force’s 45th Space Wing an exclusive commitment to deliver technical and support services essential to Eastern Range operations at Cape Canaveral, Antigua Auxiliary Air Station and Ascension Auxiliary Air Field. CSR provides technical services required for the safe and timely launch of the most sophisticated and capable US space launch and vehicle systems. By encouraging enterprising initiatives and requiring continuous improvement, CSR operates and assures one of only two space launch Ranges in the world qualified to provide safe, ready, reliable and cost-effective access to space for man-rated launch vehicles. Responsibilities:
Perform roving patrol to assigned area(s).
Monitor and maintain law and order within the area of assigned responsibility.
Conduct Security/Resource protection and Controlled Area Checks.
Perform Incident/Complaint and Vehicle Accident Investigations, Reporting and Documentation.
Enforce on base Traffic Control and maintain Traffic Records.
Participates in Passenger Processing, Manifesting and Anti-hijacking inspection.
Perform Airfield/Aircraft Support Operations to include Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Operations and Aircraft Marshalling.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Two or more years of security experience; knowledge of security instructions and installation facilities.
Military or comparable civilian security/police experience required or related experience and education can be considered in place of specific military, security, or police experience.
Must be able to interface with all levels of personnel in a diverse, multi-cultural, team-oriented environment
Remote overseas assignment, no family accommodations available on Station.
Shift work and extended hours may be required. May be physically demanding at times; including the necessity to lift at least 70 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Current and Valid U.S. passport and U.S. driver’s license required.
