Plan Mali are recruiting for a Security Manager to lead the development and management of the country safety & security strategy and provide support to the country operations on management of all safety and security issues
A proven security professional with in-depth knowledge of security risk management and associated principles, you will have relevant experience working within the humanitarian sector. You will have previous experience in developing and implementing Security Management Framework s(SMFs) and all related processes and procedures. With knowledge of Humanitarian Codes of Conduct you will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of major incident response mechanisms during critical incidences. You will be adept at using your networks to build knowledge and capacity of local teams, providing necessary trainings and standard operating procedures. Fluency in both English and French is required.

Type of Role:2 year fixed term contract
Location: Bamako Country Office, with travel(30%) to hardship and high risk areas
Reports to:The Deputy Country Director-Operations
Salary:$47,000 - $57,000 per annum and a full expat package will be available
