Security Manager

Job description
1. Responsible for management of security incidents and compliance with Flextronics MGLP (Management Guide to Loss Prevention).
2. Implement Site Security Programs and adapt to local conditions as appropriate. Supervises employees and contract employees who provide physical security and control access to safeguard company personnel and assets.

3. Act as direct line Manager for site security staffs.
4. Drive development and execution of security processes in compliance with MGLP (Management Guide to Loss Prevention) and Customer Intellectual Property Protection and Security requirements.
5. Take a leadership role in completing Loss Prevention Maturity Tracker activities at assigned sites.
a. Identify and document process and system gaps
b. Develop corrective action initiatives and security policy implementation
c. Review results with responsible management, negotiate corrective action ownership
d. Document/publish results, corrective action schedule and track through completion
6. Review and approve/reject (in-line) security related CAPEX for sites within assigned area.
7. As subject matter expert for physical security systems, direct acquisition, configuration and operations of access control, alarm, CCTV and exit screening systems.
8. In cooperation with site MRO and Global NPP teams, participate in development and review of all contract security service RFQ in compliance with Flex policies.
9. Identify cost reduction opportunities, propose and implement actions.
10. As assigned by LP Investigations Team, support investigative activity impacting Flextronics including criminal, loss issues, violations of ethics, conduct, company policy, regulatory and other matters.

5. Knowledge of physical security systems and investigative responsibility, techniques and capabilities
6. Knowledge of security commands centers, security systems and loss prevention
7. Oversight of contingent security workforce to ensure adherence and compliance to corporate contract
8. Experience in assessing workplace violence issues
9. Exceptional presentation and communication skills with abilities in process development and implementation
10. High degree of interpersonal skills and exceptional investigative ability
 
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree / 5+ years of relevant experience or
Master’s Degree /3+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated prior experience in people management and project management.
Education and experience can be weighed independently by the hiring manager and/ or HR.
