Role Summary:

You will be responsible for safe guarding QNB- Qatar properties and premises from any accident; ensuring that adequate protection devises and safety rules and precautions are in-place to prevent any accidents in Group’s premises.

Role Description:

Ensure that the Group premises are safe guarded
Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
Coordination with QNB control room for any issue regarding security
Ensure that an emergency/ disaster plan is in place and review it in regular intervals.
Initially investigate accidents and report to Manager of Security & Safety with the recommendations to avoid recurrence.
Regular knowledge updating of various security systems, regulatory requirement and safety best practices.
Ensure implementation of safety policies and procedures.
Ensure that accident precaution schemes are in place and meet international standards.
Ensure testing & maintenance of all prevention equipment’s, fire alarm, etc., and initiate preventive maintenance.
Ensure that all QNB premises (in Qatar) are in compliance with regulatory and Group’s safety requirements and that all safety requirements are followed by the staff.
Ensure First Aid facility to be available in all locations and adequate number of staff has been trained for its usage.
Maintain & update records of firefighting & fire detection equipment’s.
Train the staff in the Safety and Security Unit on the use of fire fighting, accident prevention, and handling hazardous situations.

Qualifications:

You should have a University Degree in Security or related field.
10 years of experience in similar position
Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
Good knowledge of security systems and monitoring equipment
Ability to co-ordinate various security activities simultaneously.
