Job Description
Main Purpose:
Responsible for efficient Functioning and Monitoring of the Control Room.
Responsibilities:
Issuing of permanent Access cards to all staff members and temporary cards if need be. Taking Photos for access cards at control room
Activating Visitors cards for a day and monitoring it
Pulling out access records for departments and individuals when their request
Monitoring Alarms and informing the building manager, Security Supervisor and technicians
Monitoring CCTV Cameras in control room
Keys to be issued out to relevant people after completing the key register. Key room to be monitored closely
All security reports in the control room
Keeping Security registers safe
Assist security officers in the building in securing the building
Interacting with Security officers at all security points
Activating access cards to access relevant departments
Manning the control room all the time
Liasing with different departments
Responding quickly and responsibly to emergencies and informing other relevant team members
Act as the link between the Office Manager and security officers
All in house Contractors to be vetted by their companies and results checked before access cards are made for them
Minimum qualifications and skills required:
Grade 12
Security certificate
Computer Literacy
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to speak 3 SA Languages (advantageous)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Stong work ethic .
