ACADEMI is currently answering a Request for Proposal for a Training Specialist (Instructor) - Intelligence Analysis Instruction. Applicants meeting the qualifications for this position may be considered, vetted, and asked for a signed release to use their resumes to present to the customer.
All candidates should be willing and able to pass pre-deployment medical screening. Candidates may be required to work in a high-threat environment under austere conditions. Must be able to work rotating shifts.
NOTICE: Additionally, employment is based on customer approval, security clearance (if required), background investigation, drug screening results, medical requirements, and system specific qualifications and experience levels.
Duty Location: Lagos & Jos, Nigeria
Essential Functions:
Prepares and modifies training materials
Trains personnel through formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars and practical applications
Develops computer based training materials and courses
Other duties as assignedRotations: Course length is two weeks, tentative deployment January 2016. The contract is to provide trainers for a two (2) week class at one location in Nigeria.
Job Requirements:
Required Education/Experience:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must have a valid U.S. passport
Must poses a valid state driver’s license and good driving record
Fluency in English language (written and oral)
Candidate must be less than 40% body mass index
Must possess a bachelor’s degree of four (4) years of operational or relevant training experience in military systems or eight (8) years of additional relevant work experience (twelve (12) years total) in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree
Instructors for the Advance Criminal Intelligence Analysis Courses shall, at a minimum, possess four years field experience
as law enforcement intelligence analyst or training as certified law enforcement intelligence instructors. Instructors shall be a current member of a professional law enforcement intelligence analyst association.
Previous overseas experience in a high threat environment preferred
General Instructor experience is highly preferred
Must have computer skills and have working knowledge with Microsoft Word and Power Point
Must have ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be able to attend Curriculum Review and Company Training in Moyock, NCWorking Conditions:
Work is based in a busy training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. In addition to work in a classroom setting, frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions may be required.
May require standing for long periods of time, in addition to intermittent sitting, walking, running, climbing, squatting, stretching, bending and kneeling.
