Key Role:
Provide Security Assistance Program (SAP) subject matter expertise for implementing and managing the day-to-day tasks and requirements necessary for supporting Combatant Command-level Africa Peacekeeping Rapid Response Partnership (APRRP) programs. Serve as a resident APRRP expert for US Africa Command and apply experience with the US government APRRP Strategy Framework. Coordinate the development of annual fiscal year APRRP proposals, review and provide recommendations for senior leader approval, and ensure timely submission to Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and US Department of State (DoS) program management officials.
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with supporting the DoD or the US Military
3+ years of experience with security assistance programs
2 years of experience at a Combatant Command HQ
Ability to obtain a DOCPER sponsorship
Active TS/SCI clearance
BA or BS degree and 6 years of experience with security assistance, MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience with security assistance, or 10 years of experience with security assistance
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with Interagency partners
-Experience at a Joint or Combined HQ
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
