Summary
The Department of State (DoS) requires services to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for the American Embassy Kabul (AEK) and the designated United States Government (USG) satellite properties in Afghanistan.
This is a proposal position (contingent upon contract award).
Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested)
The operations manager shall have the authority to commit the Contractor’s labor force and the use of resources (tools, materials, parts and other materials) to meet the overall O&M requirements of the Contract.
Education & Experience: (or equivalent)
Shall hold a minimum of an Associates’ degree in a related discipline or equivalent schools training/certifications
Shall have a minimum of 15 years’ experience related O&M support services and/or Facilities management, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing such services to large facilities or operations.
Knowledge & Skills
Prefer experience working in austere OCONUS locations.
Security Clearance: Possess a Top Secret security clearance.
