Job Description
Perform internal guard services to include but not limited to, vehicle and personnel Entry Control Point (ECP), perimeter towers, internal roving patrols and armed and unarmed escort guard services on this requirement
Perform the day-to-day protective security functions as specified in daily post and detail orders
Participating in advance security preparations
Perform unarmed ―Screener duties by searching visitors, their vehicles, and their belongings. Screeners shall be proficient at utilizing a hand-held metal detectors, walk-through metal detectors, and high through put personnel inspection systems (Rapid Scan)
Job Requirements
Must be Colombian Citizen
Minimum 25 years of age
Must be able to speak Level 2 English
Able to perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow
Able to don all required personal protective gear
Guards shall be limited to a work week of not more than 72 hours per week (12 hours per day, one day off per week)
Possess a Military/Police background or have equivalent training
Guards may be male or female
Must be able to pass all pre-deployment screenings including a full medical exam, a fully completed MRPT with corresponding fingerprint cards, and an accredited English assessment
Shall be qualified on primary weapon e.g. Calibers 9mm, 5.56mm,7.62mm
Contractor personnel shall have the ability to train and qualify on any Non-Lethal Weapons (NLW) recommended by the coalition forces. The COR will define any special weapons qualifications.
