As the head of Site Security, you would be responsible for ensuring that all of our personnel on site are adhering to the personnel security requirements and the requisite reporting is provided to the corporate Facility Security Officer, DS/IS/IND and the DOS OBO Site Security Manager.

Can you walk me through a typical day of a Security Manager?

The majority of your day would be spent analyzing designs for structural complexities which could be used to mask an ulterior purpose not intended by the architect.
You will exercise your knowledge of security procedures and the level of security required in various parts of each facility under construction.
You will write detailed reports and complete the analyses of issues, findings, and security situations which require staff action.

A BA/BS degree preferred, an additional 7 years of experience can be considered in place of a degree.
You must have a working knowledge of the application of the OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities.
You need at least 5 years of experience managing information and personnel security issues at either domestic or overseas sites.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.
You must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Top Secret clearance.
