InternationalIntelligence Operations Specialist (CENTCOM)

Job Description
CACI is seeking an Operations Specialist to provide Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support for unmanned aerial reconnaissance systems (UAS) to include operators/User-Level Maintainers, sustainment, logistics support, information assurance, and engineering/integration support for sensitive unmanned reconnaissance OCONUS missions. UAS provides integrated persistent systems surveillance, detection capabilities, and Full Motion Video (FMV) dissemination to US Military/NATO/Coalition command centers. UAS integrates different sensors, some of which are located aboard UAS platforms, to detect small arms fires, personnel movement, and Counter Improvised Explosive Device (IED) activity near airfields, fixed operating bases (FOBs) forward operating locations, and other OCONUS bases in support of rapid reaction security forces in the area of operation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


Subject matter expert in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to include all UAS systems status, inventory, and reporting systems.


Reports daily UAS, equipment and personnel status reports as required.


Provides technical input to engineering reports.


Performs field support engineering functions to include O&M UAS systems maintenance, information assurance, and network communications connectivity.


Provides liaison support to OCONUS/Military command centers within US CENTRAL COMMAND (CENTCOM).


Coordinate with mission partners ensuring day to day operations of the forward site are effectively and efficiently implemented, coordinated, and conducted in compliance with government requirements and quality standards.


Monitors all UAS logistics activity to ensure parts and equipment are available to work not-mission capable (NMC) equipment.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 10 years of qualified experience working with CENTCOM/NATO organizations or 12 years of qualified experience in lieu of degree with UAS systems to include MX15’s HDI EOIR systems.


Expert level knowledge of Wescam MX-15/MX-20/MX-25HDI Full Motion Video surveillance systems.


Working knowledge UHF Communications Systems to include PRC-117G; including TTNT radios.


Effective oral and written communication skills; capable of interpreting critical systems schematics and design diagrams.


O&M experience with UAS equipment to include maintaining systems in desolate/remote environments.


Deployment requirements include;


Willing to work and live in remote areas without access to DoD/U.S. Military Bases.


U.S. DOD SECRET security clearance is required (Top Secret Preferred).


Valid US driver’s license and current US passport.


Meet all physical, medical and other requirements for overseas deployment in accordance with current DoD regulations.


Additional travel to other NATO/Coalition partner nations as required.

Desired Qualifications:


Prior military service highly desired.


5 years’ experience as Wescam EOIR certified trainer.


Hands-on experience with unmanned aerial systems.
