The Role:
There is a unique opportunity for a Security Director to join our Australasian operation. Working as part of a cross-border team while based in the Sydney office, the regional director plays a key role in driving the security function across the Australasia area. The role involves:
Supporting the sales and marketing team as a Subject Matter Expert. Consultations and advice involve the full spectrum of new businesses, members and renewing clients. Speaking opportunities include conferences, webinars and media interviews.
Producing security reports and providing intelligence to both internal teams and clients.
Providing local market and customer insight.
Enhancing the growth of the security business in Australasia by focusing on quality of service and ensuring cases are managed to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Delivering security awareness training and security consultancy.
Leading incident management teams in response to incidents where clients require on-the-ground assistance.
Ensuring Australasia operational plans and deployment preparedness are all effectively maintained.
Maintaining an awareness of the security situation in Australasia and being on call for emergencies.
Building security contacts in the region.

The Person:

This position will suit a dynamic high-achiever with the ability to travel both regionally and globally. The successful candidate will have:
Extensive experience working in the security industry in Australasia. Ideally also with global experience.
Strong knowledge of the political and security landscape of Australasia.
Ideally a degree education or relevant professional training in a field related to security or international relations.
Experience in security operations management.
Experience in consulting as a security subject matter expert.
