The Kenjya-Trusant Group is seeking Security Manager candidates for The U.S. Department of State, Worldwide Weapons Destruction Support Services contract bid. The Bureau of Political Military Affairs,Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (PM/WRA) oversees all DOS Conventional Weapons Destruction (CWD). Their mission is to reduce the threats posed to civilian security by at-risk, illicitly-trafficked, and indiscriminately-used conventional weapons and explosive remnants of war.
The contract will have a 1 year base and 4 Option Year period of performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for security program including safeguarding all personnel, supplies and equipment under task order. This includes getting approval of any required security plans, adherence to standard operating procedures and the safe storage and handling of explosives. Serves as security advisor and trainer to host country.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree required. Undergraduate degree preferred
Education requirements may be met with 2 additional years of specialized experience
At least 5 years specialized experience in overseas security under fairly large programs
Knowledge of applicable US DoD and IMAS standards, industry and international best practices
Knowledge of host country requirements and culture
